What we do
Breath and Ice by Flo is all about tuning in with our breath and getting comfortable with the uncomfortable.
Trained in the Oxygen Advantage, Flo is teaching breathing techniques that focus on optimizing oxygen uptake and utilization in the body. By practicing specific breathing exercises and incorporating nasal breathing into everyday life, this methodology aims to increase oxygen delivery to body tissues, enhance athletic performance, promote overall health, and improve mental well-being. Through the concept of breath holding, reduction of over-breathing, and utilization of carbon dioxide to drive respiration, the Oxygen Advantage empowers individuals to optimize their oxygen levels and achieve a state of balanced breathing for optimal health.
Ice baths, also known as cold water immersion, have gained popularity in recent years for their potential health and recovery benefits. By submerging the body in cold water, ice baths stimulate several physiological responses. The cold temperature constricts blood vessels, reducing inflammation and flushing out metabolic waste products from muscles. This process can aid in muscle recovery, reduce swelling, and alleviate muscle soreness after intense workouts. Furthermore, ice baths are thought to promote mental resilience by training individuals to withstand discomfort and improve their overall tolerance to cold temperatures. As a certified Ice bath instructor, Flo will guide you and support you in your journey.

A great opportunity to work 1:1 with Flo. This is an exclusive and customized Oxygen Advantage based 3-4 week program to get you the results you are looking for.

Oxygen Advatage for Runners
This is a 4-week (4× 1h) customized training program to help runners to improve their aerobic/ anaerobic capacity and increase their VO2 max and running economy.
On the first initial meeting, you’ll learn about the pillars of the Oxygen Advantage, and dive into the secret of functional breathing, and the importance of CO2 in our body. Your breathing pattern will be assessed, and a customized training plan will be made.
In the second week, we’ll dive straight into some of the basic exercises from the Oxygen Advantage. You will also learn how breathing affects your mind, sleep and recovery.
In the third and fourth week we’ll talk about the improvements made from the first couple of weeks. Then we’ll dive into some of the stronger exercises, including the simulation of altitude training, and some sprint drills.
On the last meeting we’ll come back to the assessment of your breathing pattern. We’ll talk about improvements and how you can implement the training further into you day to day live
**Please note: In order to see improvements you should commit to the program for the full 4 weeks!!!
Workshops
Choose a variety of 2-hour workshops, all the way up to all-day workshops with an Oxygen Advantage based program including Ice baths. The program is available from Corporate to Gyms, or even Teambuilding.
